This blog is one of the best college football blogs around. However, as hard as this is for me to say, the only thing holding it back is the ties to a single school. As a result, it attracts Michigan lovers, Michigan haters, other bloggers, and 40-year-old men searching for pictures of hot coeds.
You've got plenty of imagination and the ability to dig up interesting material during the off-season. You've got Photoshop skilz. The "know your foe" feature was great and I'm sure you'll have something even more enlightening this season. You listen to your audience. I appreciate that you're honest about the realities of Michigan football and not blinded by maize and blue goggles. I also appreciate that while we all love to poke fun at our most despised rival, you've had the integrity to give respect where respect is due.
All that being said, there's just not 200,000 Michigan fans who log onto a computer every morning at work and have nothing better to do for 10 minutes. We're all too busy managing, or trading, or curing cancer, or flying into OUTER SPACE... that's right, space bitches, SPACE!
...and the only reason I have 10 minutes to write so much at work this morning is because I did all of that already and now I'm on a coffee break (and I didn't go to Michigan)
Matt - damn, son. When you get back from your coffee break, see if you can do something about the decline of ESPN and then fix Social Security.
Thanks!
Matt,
Actually, I agree w/ you 100%. In fact, I've thought seriously about changing the name so it's not so school specific. Because, as you see, today for example, often we cover all of CFB (and often humor in general), not just Michigan.
Thanks for the comment.
